Tania Curlis

Counselling can be a rewarding way to take care of your own needs and learn about yourself. I support individuals, couples or families, and generally those with more complex issues. My training is broad, and includes a Master of Social Work. You can book in a single session to brainstorm a specific concern, or attend regularly for a greater depth of support.

Past clients have suggested I bring a practical, caring and and down to earth approach. I have worked in social work for 10 years, and undertook Community Development qualifications in 2001. Broad therapeutic influences allow me to work responsively to your situation and preferences.

You can ask me about a reduced rate for people on a concession benefit or in special circumstances. I am not registered with Medicare or health funds, which allows greatest flexibility to work in a range of modalities to suit you, and absolute privacy and confidentiality of support offered.

I have previously contributed on the board of two not-for-profit organisations, and currently volunteer as a group facilitator for adult adoptees. I also work in the mental health sector.
