| Linda PhillipsLinda is a highly trained and thoughtful, fully registered psychologist.
She has extensive training in evidence-based interventions such as psychodynamic psychotherapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and emotion-focused therapy.
Linda has over 15 years experience working in a variety of roles (eg. as a counsellor, case manager & psychologist) with children, parents and individuals. She has worked with a broad spectrum of difficulties and in a range of settings.
Linda's approach is to compassionately assist people understand themselves at a deeper level in order to uncover the root causes of symptoms (known as ‘inside-out’ work / psychodynamic psychotherapy). This differs from addressing symptoms directly (known as ‘outside-in’ work), although sometimes a combination of both approaches is most helpful.
Linda is committed to providing sensitive, thoughtful and personalised evidence-based treatment and would be happy to talk with you further about your needs.
