Connie Boglis

Connie has worked for over 10 years in the government and private sector’s counselling both adults and young people. Connie has worked extensively within the non for profit sector, prison system and has her own private practice. She is also a registered Clinical member of the Australia Counselling Association.

Connie likes to work with a holistic approach when seeing clients as she believes this enables individuals to view the ‘bigger picture’ blockages more clearly and she supports individuals to be aware of their patterns of behaviour within their different environments.

Each one of us go will go through stress, loss, and a variety of emotions throughout our lifetimes, and it is how we manage those emotions which will determine how we come through and cope with them. From a young age we have each developed learned behaviours and ways of doing, saying and acting dependent upon our environments and influences. As we grow older our responses/learned behaviours can either support our emotional development or hinder emotional growth.

Connie works closely with her clients to break down those old patterns of learned behaviour using take home information to monitor and re condition old learning habits. Connie has seen this is a positive way forward for individuals because they are actively making a choice to change for themselves and their future.
